Emergency Response For Rohingya FDMN
Rohingya refugees, one of the most vulnerable displaced populations in the world, have endured immense hardships. Forced to flee persecution in Myanmar, they lost not only their homes but also their families, wealth, and sense of security. Now residing in Bangladesh as Forcibly Displaced Myanmar Nationals (FDMNs), these refugees continue to face significant challenges in their daily lives.
In response to this crisis, Bicharan Kallyan Sangstha began its support for the Rohingya community in 2021. Since then, the organization has been actively providing essential aid, including food, medicine, nutritional items, emergency shelter, and household essentials to Rohingya families.
To date, Bicharan has reached and supported over 85,000 Rohingya FDMNs through its humanitarian interventions. The organization focuses on addressing the immediate needs of these displaced individuals while working towards improving their overall well-being and resilience.
Bicharan’s commitment to the Rohingya community underscores its broader mission to support the most vulnerable populations, ensuring they receive the critical assistance they need to survive and rebuild their lives in times of crisis. Through continued collaboration with local and international partners, Bicharan aims to expand its reach and impact within the refugee camps, contributing to the long-term stability and security of the Rohingya FDMN population.
