Bicharan Kallyan Sangstha has undertaken vital infrastructural projects to support some of the most vulnerable populations in Bangladesh, with a focus on improving living conditions, enhancing community well-being, and promoting long-term resilience.

Shelter for Rohingya Refugees: Currently, over 1.2 million Rohingya refugees reside in Cox’s Bazar, facing harsh conditions. To alleviate their suffering, Bicharan has constructed 15 shelter homes, providing safer living environments and protecting refugees from severe weather.

Shelters for Cyclone-Affected Communities: Each year, coastal Bangladesh suffers devastating impacts from cyclones, flooding, and rising sea levels. To address these challenges, Bicharan has built 5 shelters, offering protection for climate refugees and reducing the impact of environmental disasters.

Mosque Construction and Reconstruction: Recognizing the social importance of mosques as community centers, Bicharan has built 10 new mosques and reconstructed 3 mosques in rural and semi-urban areas. These initiatives aim to foster harmony, trust, and social cohesion within communities.

Educational Institutions: Education is key to breaking the cycle of poverty. To support rural and underprivileged children, Bicharan has established 2 schools, benefiting 2,300 children. This initiative ensures access to quality education, promoting a brighter future for all.

Road and Infrastructure Development: In response to recurring natural disasters in coastal regions, Bicharan has constructed durable road networks, accommodating 1,750 people, ensuring year-round access to essential services and economic opportunities.

Ablution Centers (Wudu Khana): To address hygiene needs in underserved areas, Bicharan has built 30 ablution centers, benefiting 3,000 individuals and supporting spiritual practices in rural communities.
