NFI (Non Food Item) item distribution Initiative
In Bangladesh, approximately 8% of the population lives below the poverty line, facing numerous challenges that hinder their access to basic necessities. To alleviate some of these hardships, Bicharan Kallyan Sangstha annually provides Non-Food Items (NFI) to support the most vulnerable communities.
The NFI program includes essential hygiene and household items, such as: Shampoo and conditioner, Soap or body wash, Toothpaste, Feminine hygiene products, Vaseline, Hand soap, Toothbrushes, Buckets, Plates, glasses, and water bottles, Toilet paper, Paper towels, Diapers and wet wipes, Paper plates, plastic utensils, napkins along with kitchen items.
Through this initiative, Bicharan has successfully reached out to 2,500 individuals, significantly improving their quality of life and promoting better hygiene practices. This support not only addresses immediate needs but also fosters dignity and well-being among those in need.
