In Bangladesh, the coastal regions face annual devastation from cyclones, leading to the loss of homes and livelihoods. Additionally, challenges such as salinity intrusion, rising sea levels, and prolonged flooding significantly impact the lives of residents in these vulnerable areas. In response to these ongoing challenges, Bicharan Kallyan Sangstha has initiated proactive interventions to alleviate the struggles faced by affected communities.

To date, Bicharan has constructed 150 shelter homes specifically designed for individuals displaced by cyclones, often referred to as climate refugees. These shelters aim to provide safe, secure living conditions for those who have lost their homes, facilitating recovery and stability in the aftermath of natural disasters.
